I have been pursuing Genealogy so much that I have lost sight of other hobbies that I have

What does it take to start seeing a trend in your life?  I am involved with my communities Genealogy Club and have pursued that whole heartedly.  This has resulted in many times where I am consumed by spending time on the computer in pursuit of one person or another.  As a hobby, it is a deep dark hole that you can get easily sucked into. I have looked into patriots in my lineage that fought in the American Revolution.  But this can hardly be thought of as something that keeps me from other pursuits.  Maybe I get locked into things that keep me away from other pursuits which could make me just as happy if not more.  Maybe I need a vacation away from what I am doing?  Such an odd thing!
