Wait on the Lord and See What He Will Do
After going through a time of self reflection, I have watched with pleasant surprise what the Lord has done for me. He has boosted my spirits beyond that I would have imagined. He has looked out for me in the work area placing me into a position on the cusp of really exciting things to do. I cannot imagine what else the Lord has planned for me.
[Isaiah 64:4-5] "4 For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him. 5 You meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways."
Interestingly enough, this passage from Isaiah tells me that I have done correctly in the Lord's eyes by remembering Him, and waiting on Him and His guidance. I have been fighting a rather rough road uphill alternately falling into depression and waking out to very great feelings of joy. My trust has increased and I have lived to see the Lord do marvelous things.
[Psalm 27:1] "1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?"
[Psalm 33:18-21] "18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness, 19 To deliver their soul from death And to keep them alive in famine. 20 Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. 21 For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name."
Truly I am blessed.
